How is Brainwrite billed?
Brainwrite Cloud is $49 (Starter), $99 (Pro) or $149 (Max) a month. For teams, Team is $169 a month for up to 5 people, and Business is $599 a month for 20 people, then $25 a month for each person more. All are billed monthly in US dollars: Starter, Pro and Max after a 3-day free trial, Team and Business from the first day, with no trial.
How do I buy?
Download Brainwrite, sign in, and choose a plan inside the app. Buying after you sign in ties the purchase to your account.
Is there a free trial?
On Starter, Pro and Max, yes: 3 days, once per person. A card is needed to start and nothing is charged until the trial ends. Cancel before it ends from Manage billing and you pay nothing. Team and Business have no trial: the first month is charged when you subscribe. A month is not refunded once it is charged.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time. Access runs to the end of the month you have paid for.
What happens when my paid period ends?
Access ends when the paid period ends. There is no grace period. Your Cloud is stopped and kept 7 days so its things can come back to your computer, then deleted.
Can my bots use my own computer?
Yes, on every plan. Lend your computer to your Cloud so its bots can use your apps and the folders you choose, or keep this computer's bots on this computer. Your computer has to be awake with Brainwrite open.
Are there any daily limits on app connections or requests?
Brainwrite connects to Gmail, Slack, GitHub, and hundreds of other apps through Composio, set up for you in the official app, and each app's own API limits still apply. You can connect up to five accounts per app.
What do I need to bring myself?
An AI provider account, such as Claude, ChatGPT (for Codex), Grok, Cursor, or a local model. Brainwrite doesn't resell AI usage; your provider bills it under its own terms. Connected apps need no key: the official app sets them up, and you sign in to each app in your browser.
Do updates cost extra?
No. Updates are included while your plan is active and install automatically.
Is Brainwrite still local-first?
Yes. Your bots, chats, files, and agent state live on your own Cloud computer, which only your own devices connect to, or on your machine when you keep this computer's bots on it. Either way, your bots reach only the model providers and connected apps you choose.
